NBA Odds Boosts You Should Consider Betting
Derrick Rose to score 15+ points +190 (FD)
Rose’s player prop is set to 12.5 points and the under is juiced. Rose is +158 to score 15+ on Fan Duel.  Yes, this is a slight boost, but it is a slower paced game with a lowish total of 211.5 points. This is also a back-to-back for the Knicks and Houston has been trending under recently. Seriously, go look at their last six games. Since trading for Victor Oladipo they have been better defensively. However, Oladipo is out tonight. To summarize, low total, back-to-back for an older Rose and his points prop under is juiced. The Knicks minutes are not consistent for their guards. This is a pass.

KD and Curry to both score 30+ Points +250 (FD)
KD’s player prop is set to 29.5 points, but the under is juiced. Curry’s player prop is set to 32.5 points and the under is slightly juiced. You can parlay them both to score 30+ on Fan Duel for +175. If you parlay together them to both hit their player prop is pays +254. In essence, you get a two-point break on Curry’s point prop for almost the exact same price. While the Nets should be back to full strength, DeAndre Jordan sitting may mean that KD has to play the five a lot more tonight. The Warriors will also go small, but this is a game with a massive total (245.5) and small spread at four points. Lastly, this is a KD revenge game! I am all in on this boost. I bet the max.

James Harden to record a triple double +365 (DK)
Harden is +250 on Fan Duel to record a triple double. Harden is “boosted” to +300 for a triple double on Fox Bet.
Harden’s rebound prop is set to 7.5 and the over is juiced. Harden’s assist prop is set to 10.5 and the under is slightly juiced. Harden’s point prop is set to 24.5 and obviously, points would not be the concern in this wager. The best comparison I can make is parlaying Harden over 15 points/Harden over 10.5 assists/Harden over 7.5 rebounds, which comes out to +188. While this is a boost at almost double what it should be, I have a hard time seeing Harden get there with Kyrie and KD playing. As odd as hit has been, when all three play Harden has taken a back seat at times. The total and game environment make it enticing, but this is a pass for me.

KD and Curry to make over 7.5 Threes +105 (DK)
KD’s prop is set to 2.5 and the under is heavily juiced. Curry’s prop is set to 5.5 and again the under is heaving juiced. If you parlayed them to both, hit the over, which would get you to eight made threes it pays +308. Of course, Curry could get hot and get there himself. You are better off parlaying them together instead of this boost. Pass on the boost.

Embiid and Curry to combine for 65 or more points +100 (Fox Bet)
We already discussed Curry and Embiid’s points prop is set to 30.5 and the over is juiced. Why would you bet this when you can parlay them to just hit their own overs for +254 on Fan Duel? Pass.

NYK/Nets/Jazz all to win +350 (Fox Bet)
The Knicks are a pick. You can parlay them on Fan Duel for +308. I am skipping this one. It is not worth the risk with such a small favorite included. Pass.

KD and Harden one or more dunk each +900
Do I really need to break down the amount of dunks people make in a game? I hate these.
KD has 23 dunks in 18 games. Harden has two dunk in 21 games. Pass. This needs to be over +1000 for me to be interested.

Steph and Embiid’s prop number is set at 30.5 on Fan Duel and Lillard is at 32.5 points. Now, if you look at the 30+ section on Fan Duel, every single one of them is minus money. Since you cannot parlay them on any of the sites, running this through a simple parlay calculator shoots out odds around the +321 number. This boost is not only fair; it is an actual boost that is worth the price. Every player is getting the number they should and the payout is even better. To top it off, the max bet for me was actually $150. Normally, I am capped at $25 or maybe if I am lucky $100 over on Fox Bet. I am in on this!

Wait, Fox Bet has offered two boosts in a row that are actually boosts? What is going on? These three parlayed on other sites is around +206. While Boston is a smaller favorite, this is a back-to-back for the Raptors. I am in again.

I had stopped paying attention. James Harden was having a fantastic game and I assumed 25 points was a given. He finished with 24 points. That prop with Harden, Dame Lillard, and Joel Embiid failed by a single point. The Embiid boost failed by ten points, as the Sixers won and covered, but the Sixers center did not score enough. The top play in the model came in and the two recommended NBA wagers also covered.

I will have to revisit later in the evening and see where Booker’s points prop settles.

The Giannis/Luka/Curry odds boost ended up coming in! Recommended bets for hoops odds boosts move to 11-15, which is good for +1215. Oddly, Draft Kings voided their college hoops odds boost parlay. I mean, two out of three played and they both won, yet they voided it? I guarantee if one had lost, they would not have voided. If this was a regular money line, or regular parlay, it just drops to a two-gamer normally. I have had this happen before. It happens a little more often in baseball, but due to COVID, it has occurred more often.

I realize I had not been tracking how the highest rated in the model has been doing and should have been doing that. Several people messaged me saying thanks for mentioning it, or they let me know when I forget to! I have added it to the bottom where we keep records.

That was a weird Super Bowl to say the least. Who knew that having a horrid offensive line would matter that much. In retrospect, maybe we should have worried more about that. However, I do not think anyone expected the Chiefs to score zero touchdowns. I got a lot of props right and some wrong, overall it was a meh day. I was just under breaking even. Considering the amount wagered on each bet, it was almost a wash. We will have a full year-end break down of our NFL computer model that had the Bucs yesterday and finished the playoffs 9-4. Maybe I expected too much. Maybe I expected more. I rather assumed that the sites would be posting an insane amount of odds boosts. Now, they still have time, but why wait? I think there could be better ways to bet this combo than this boost. Of course if you think the Chiefs win and score a ton this is great. Mahomes prop for passing yardage is well above 300 yards and over 2.5 TD’s is also heavily juices at -136. You know what I am in on this.

The Chiefs are slow starters at times and go look at the lack of scoring by Tom Brady led Super Bowl teams. Of all the boosts, this is the easiest to pass on.

Fox Bet has been publicizing this super boost of Brady and Mahomes to each throw two or more touchdowns boosted to +100. On the surface, it seems great. Brady is -230 to throw over two touchdown passes. Mahomes is -455 to throw over two touchdown passes. This has a max bet of $25. What they do not tell you is that it is $25 per day. I have been firing on this daily since it posted. A small $25 wager can turn into a $225 wager over the course of nine days with this boost. Now, when I say on the surface it seems great, there is another element to this you should consider. Brady to throw over 2.5 touchdowns pays +130. The Books are basically saying, we expect him to throw two. I think you can also bet Brady over 2.5 touchdown passes for +130 on a different site like Draft Kings and try to maximize your profits here. In a game with a 56.5 point total, each quarterback throwing two touchdown passes seems safe. Mahomes has done it in every game he has finished but two this season. Brady has two or more in all but three games. Overall, load up on this daily and consider firing on Brady over 2.5 TD’s at +130 on another site. Try to set yourself up to at worst break even, or have a great day using just this boost and one similar prop.
