The Lakers are dead! I thought they would die later this week but here we are. There are only six games tonight and everyone is officially in or out of the playoffs. All that matters at this point is seeding. How much that seeding matters is really hard to say. I would be extremely careful.

Dallas could become the three seed. I am not sure if playing Denver instead of Utah is better though. Of all the teams, remaining Dallas has some motivation. Detroit continues to be feisty as a large home dog.

Brooklyn could still fall to the ten seed, but obviously would rather stay in the eight spot. Brooklyn does need to win.

WAS at ATL -11
Atlanta is in the same boat s Brooklyn. Winning could make things easier. Washington is done, but they continue to play hard and won last night in Minnesota. This is a road back-to-back for the Wizards.

BOS at CHI +7.5
Do the Celtics want to be the two seed? The Bulls are pretty much locked into the six seed. I assume Boston will be trying to win, but we shall see.

OKC at UTA -17
Utah could be the five or six seed and winning can help that, but it does not really matter. The Thunder played the worst lineup I have ever seen last night. Utah could play their second unit and still win here.

PHO at LAC +3
Neither team has anything to play for. Seems like a good rest spot for everyone. Stay away.

I love the Masters. I used to not really like watching golf, but DFS and sports betting has built my interest. The Masters has this special feel and I enjoy everything about it. I will fire too many bets. I will play too many DFS lineups. I will not care either way. I will enjoy the ride. We do have plenty of odds boosts offered by the books. I am firing on several players this weekend. Adam Scott has been in contention a bunch this season, but played his way out of it on Sundays. The Wizards have not been terrible, but they are not good. Washington has been beating other bad teams. Dallas is playing so well. Dallas in a money line parlay seems inevitable.

Another large home dog. Orlando is not trying to win. They have continuously benched starters late to make sure they do not win. This is leg two of the money line parlay.

Indiana at Boston -14.5
The Pacers are also not actively trying to win. Boston can be the number one seed. This is leg three of a money line parlay.

They just played this game the other night and there was no defense. The Rockets missed a three at the buzzer to send the game to OT. If you want to target player prop overs this is your game.

This is a back-to-back for both teams. I have a feeling the Clippers rest people, mainly Paul George. The Bucks may rest people as well, but they are trying to also get the one seed in the East. The Clippers are locked into the eight seed no matter what.

This is a back-to-back for the Pistons who shocked the Sixers last night. The Pistons play hard and are getting better. The Thunder have eight players for tonight. I have a slight lean on the Pistons, but wow.

It appears the Grizzlies will be resting several players besides Ja Morant. JJJ, Adams, Bane, and even Tyus Jones are all listed as doubtful. Both these teams are almost locked into their position. I think you can use the Suns in a money line parlay as they do not rest people and just keep winning.

This is where we are that the Spurs are massive favorites over the Blazers.  Again, you can see the money line parlay legs lining up easily here. Portland wants to lose and the Spurs are still live to make the playoffs. The Spurs hold the tie breaker over the Lakers and if the Lakers lose tonight, they are in massive trouble.

Minnesota at Denver -2.5
Both of these teams may be stuck where they are. Denver has a three game lead on Minnesota for the ix seed. If Minnesota has any hopes to avoid the play-in, they need to win tonight.

This is a back-to-back for both teams. Cleveland started Moses Brown last night with Mobley out. Kevin Love ended up not doing a ton in a decent amount of minutes. Cleveland is really beat up and struggling. Atlanta can catch Brooklyn or Charlotte and move out of the ten spot in the East. Atlanta easily beat OKC last night. Atlanta has won two of these three matchups this season.

LAC at CHI -3.5
The frisky Clippers with Paul George are catching points against an inconsistent Bulls team. I would have some interest in the Clippers, if they did not say they are limiting minutes in preparation for the playoffs. However, those limits seemed to disappear against Utah the other night.

LAL at UTA -13
The Lakers are terrible and AD and LeBron are not expected to play. If the Lakers lose they drop back to a tie with the Spurs for the tenth and final play in spot. They are going to lose. A money line parlay of Atlanta/UTA/PHI pays almost even money. That is not bad.

I decided to look back at some futures I have as we are headed to the NBA. I recently gave out Memphis 24/1 on DK, which I have. I think we get some free bets for every win they have as the season ends. I cannot recall exactly what the deal was, but I added them. My entire futures wagers look like:

I made one of the Sixers wagers early this year, but the others right before they traded for Harden. Denver was from right around when Michael Porter JR got hurt. I am adding the Clippers as well. I said it on Twitter last night, but Fan Duel having this number while every other book has 40/1 seems very odd. I keep coming back to, why would Paul George come back for only two weeks. Unless, he may have some added help. No one knows what is up with Kawhi Leonard. He may come back soon he may disappear until October. I can either hedge or get out of all of these to not take a loss if/when these teams face an elimination game.

Dallas at Cleveland +2.5
This is a back-to-back for Dallas, sort of. The Mavs barely had to play last night and Luka crushed in limited minutes. Cleveland is now missing Evan Mobley as well tonight. Both teams are trying to win.

Orlando at Washington -3.5
This is a back-to-back for the Wizards. Both teams are not actively trying to win. The Zinger has been playing consecutive nights. Wendell Carter is out for the Magic. This is two teams trying to improve their lottery chances, but the Wizards have been playing decently.

Denver at Indiana +10
The Nuggets keep playing and the Pacers are trying to lose. I expect the Pacers to randomly rule people out as the day goes on. Four straight losses for the Pacers three by double-digits. I have a little interest in Denver, or in a money line parlay.

Charlotte at New York +3
The Knicks beat the Bulls in their last game and the Hornets are fighting for play-in positioning. The Hornets have been good, but did lose to the Knicks just a week ago. This feels like a trap with the Knicks being a small home dog. Pass for me.
Miami at Boston -5.5
We get to see how Boston’s defense looks like without the Time Lord. The winner of this game will move into the top spot in the Eastern Conference. I kind of like the Celtics. Miami has struggled to score at times and I believe in Celtics defense, despite injury.

Minnesota at Toronto -3
Minnesota continues to improve and Toronto may actually be fully healthy. This feels like a fair line of two teams still playing and in similar positions for seeding in their respective conferences.

Sacramento at Houston +2.5
Houston is tanking and resting plenty of people already. The Kings are doing the same. This is going to be a great DFS game.

Atlanta at OKC +12.5
Atlanta is not good, but OKC is really tanking. I demand we have Poku and Chet on the same team next year. Atlanta needs to keep winning to maybe get out of the 9-10 seed. This is a good money line parlay spot.

Memphis at San Antonio +5
The Spurs are playing to eliminate the Lakers and stay in the playoff picture. Ja Morant is still out and this game has a large total. Memphis keeps winning without JA, but their occasional losses have occurred on the road.  

Phoenix at Golden State +4.5
Curry is still out. The Suns just keep rolling. Both teams are almost locked into their spots.

New Orleans at Portland +13.5
The Blazers are horrible and want to keep losing. The Pelicans can keep winning and force the Lakers into the ten spot if they are lucky. Since Portland ruled out their actual team for the rest of the season, the Blazers are 2-14. Those wins are over two tankers in Detroit and Washington. This game has blowout written all over it.

We are into the home stretch of the NBA. I am going to breakdown motivations as I have mentioned before. There are so many people that are resting, hurt, or just not trying to win at the moment.

All the books have almost given up on NBA boosts. It feels odd considering how compelling the last few weeks should be. Hopefully they start to pick up for the playoffs and the Masters.

DEN at CHA +3.5
Both teams still playing. The Hornets can push Brooklyn into the 9/10 slot by continuing to win. Denver has seeding and avoiding the play-in to play for.

ORL at CLE -9.5
Orlando is tanking. Cleveland can get out of the play-in, but seems content to get healthy. Be careful with the Cavs.

ATL at IND +7
The Pacers want to lose. Atlanta needs to win but has struggled all year long.

CHI at NYK +5
Bulls are sort of playing for seeding, but not really. The Knicks are not officially dead, but they are close. They will be eliminated soon.

SAC at MIA -13
The Kings are dead. Miami is playing for the number one seed in the East when they are not fighting themselves.

BOS at TOR +4
The Celtics are on fire and currently the No.1 seed in the East. Toronto is fighting to avoid the play-in games. Both are trying and going hard when they are healthy. The Celtics are not tonight though.

SAS at HOU +7
The Spurs are close to knocking the Lakers out of the playoffs completely. The Spurs are going hard. Houston is dead.

GSW at MEM -10.5
These two teams are basically locked into their seeds. GSW will be 3^rd and Memphis will be 2^nd.  Dallas does have an outside shot at catching the Warriors, but neither are really playing for anything.

OKC at POR +2.5
Both teams tanking. So many people already ruled out here. This is a terrible game. Be careful with tankers.

The Knicks are dogs, why even include this. This should pay +876. Easy pass.

Luka to record 40+ points/rebounds +110 (DK)
Luka’s combo is set to 38.5 and the over is heavily juiced. I think this is pretty much the correct number and barely boosted comparatively. Pass for me.

GSW/MIA/CHA to all win +650 (FOX)
Remember when Fox used to sneak a good team in this boosts that are missing key players. They are at it again with the Warriors. This should pay +621 and features two dogs. Easy Pass for me.
