We kind of trailed off last season. No, I do not mean picking winners. I mean, just life is getting in the way. Every parent will hit a time when their children’s activities just take complete control of their schedule and life. This is not a bad thing as it is extremely fun. However, if you are also coaching your children’s teams, then time can easily disappear. Maybe it was hosting almost 30 people for Thanksgiving, or having kids sports 6-7 days a week, or not being in the Circa Millions contest last year, but posting content got away from me.
This year we are so back. We are back in the Circa Millions, which looks like it is headed for some overlay. I understand why Survivor has overtaken picks contests, based on simplicity. I will again post my survivor plays. No, I am not in the Circa Survivor contest. Yes, your picks in that are independent of everyone else, but those groups that have max entries and will be willing to get unique early, will make that incredibly difficult to win.
Last year I was able to min-cash in the Draft Kings picks contest in all the lower dollar contests. I missed cashing in the $500 contest by one game. I was 40-30 at a point and did not finish strong. It is very easy to lose focus when you are busy. I 100%, lost focus and stopped posting content. These actions certainly cost me money in those picks’ contests.
No excuses, play like a champion.
This year, we are back with a renewed focus. The computer model remains a good tool to use after it had an off year last season. Below I have listed the numbers historically and how it has fared. Overall, it has been solid as I have when picking games. The goal for this season is a lofty 60% to try and cash in the Circa Millions. Yes, that is a lot higher than you need to be a profitable sports bettor, but that’s the level needed to cash in these picks contests.

If you qualify, go get your free money. When I do post a bet, I will mention the site in question so you can find the same number. Shockingly, I took the Steelers -3 week one prior to the Tua news and the game moving to -3.5 or -3 (-120). Am I biased for the Steelers, yes sometimes. My goal is to avoid them in picks contests as much as possible.
No matter what, this is the best time of the year, and I am very excited to get started! While the appetizers this week are nice, nothing is like every NFL Sunday.
