That was fun, besides losing some wagers. The afternoon slate was weak, but fortunately, I was asleep during a portion of it. I wish I were “sick” instead of really sick. I know plenty of people take the day off or have an early dentist appointment then miss work. My father used to take me out of school and we would go to Damon’s or some sports bar that had all four feeds to watch all the games. Some of you young kids are too young to recall when you got one game on TV at a time. Yes, four were being played but you could watch one. If your game was a 20-point blowout, sorry, you were stuck. Fortunately, we have advanced to this point of four games that are staggered.
What did we learn from day one? The Big Ten might be terrible. The SEC is confusing as Kentucky lost and Arkansas could have lost. Tennessee cruised to an easy win. I am in to fade the Big Ten. We have a few opportunities to do that today.
