The Rockets, Jazz, Knicks, and Nuggets are all on a back-to-back. The Nuggets even played an overtime game where Jokic went nuclear. The Bulls have struggled with good team this year and get another shot at one in Philly tonight; the line is a little surprisingly large at Sixers -7.
Houston is coming off a shocking upset of Memphis and now gets to lose to Miami tonight. Kyle Lowry is still out for the Heat, but Gabe Vincent has been fine and Tyler Herro has played well off the bench. Portland will be without Simons and any talent for the most part in Minnesota tonight. I do not even know what to do with the Blazers at this point. The Blazers are close to the play-in, but that seems wildly unlikely. They are much better off tanking the last month here.
Utah gets to play again tonight in Dallas. Utah is 2-0 against the Mavs this season and before their loss in New Orleans over the weekend were 10-1 run. The dead, but not really dead Lakers play in San Antonio tonight. No matter what the Lakers will end up in the play-in tournament in the West. The Spurs are one of the teams that could conceivably catch them, but it is highly unlikely. The Spurs have several starters listed as questionable right now.
The Warriors will be playing their second unit tonight in Denver. Klay, Steph, Wiggins, Payton, Iggy, Dray, and Wiseman are all out. This feels like a spot that the Nuggets could rest Jokic since the Warriors have already made it clear how they are handling this game.
The Knicks find themselves as a dog in Sacramento on their West Coast swing. The Kings are the healthiest they have been in a while.
